Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a fee for the conference?
Yes. We are offering early bird pricing for ALTA members, non-members and students, now through February 28, 2022. Pricing is as follows:
How many CEs are offered for the event?
You can earn up to 11 continuing education hours for this event, which will help you reach your membership requirement of 10 CEs a year.
Will the conference be recorded if I cannot attend live?
Yes. There is a virtual conference package available for purchase. Register here.
Do I get a certificate for attending the conference?
Yes. Instructions will be provided after each session for how to claim your certificate of completion.
Will the presentations be accessible after the conference?
Yes. We are still looking into how long the recordings will be available after the conference.
What is the conference refund policy?
Registrations can be refunded up to 30 days before the event. Please note that refunds will not be issued after April 6, 2022.
What is the hotel cancellation policy?
According to the hotel, a credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. A deposit of one night’s room and tax will be charged at booking. Cancellations must be received 7 days prior to day of arrival to avoid 1 night’s room and tax cancellation penalty.
Will there be handouts available?
Whenever applicable, a copy of the presentation or handouts will be made available at the session.
Do you accept purchase orders (POs)?
We do! Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone, 512-488-9897 to purchase your registration via purchase order. Our membership team will verify your details and provide you with an invoice. Please note a while a purchase order is a guarantee of payment, payment must be collected prior to attending the live event. If attending in person, payment may be provided upon registration. If attending virtual, payment must be collected two business days prior to live viewing.

Do you offer group discounts?
This year, ALTA is offering discounts for group registration. If you have a group registration from your school or training course, the following discounts will apply:
5-10 registrations – 10% discount
11+ registrations – 15% discount
What if I have food allergies/dietary restrictions?
When registering for the conference, please list any dietary restrictions you have on the form. We will do our best to accommodate these requests.
Does the hotel provide transportation from the airport?
Yes. There is a $23.00 one-way fee per person ($46.00 round trip) from the Colorado Springs Airport. Arrivals should be scheduled ahead of your arrival. You can schedule your ride in advance by calling the hotel at 719-538-4000. Departures are scheduled on the hour, every hour, starting at 5:00 AM.
Does the hotel provide Wifi?
Yes. A resort fee, currently at $24 per room per night will be discounted to $10 per room per night in addition to the daily room rate. The $10 fee includes self and valet parking, unlimited personal Wifi access, unlimited local calls, unlimited 800 calls, in-room coffee and tea, outdoor tennis courts, golf bag storage, access to the fitness and workout facility, and admittance to fitness classes offered weekly.
Can we extend our hotel dates past the conference?
Yes. The ALTA group rate is available from 4/27/2022 until 5/1/2022.
What are the COVID protocols for the event?
There are currently no mask mandates nor travel restrictions or quarantine requirements when traveling to Colorado Springs. Because each business may have its own requirement, it is recommended that you have a mask with you when traveling to Colorado Springs.
We are continuing to monitor the COVID situation and will abide by CDC guidelines. We will keep you updated as we get closer to the event.
